Undo History and Safe Rename Review

Zush is designed around review before apply. Rename history adds a second layer of safety after a batch rename has already been applied.

For each rename action, Zush stores the original filename, new filename, folder, and timestamp. This lets you inspect what changed and revert the action when needed.

  1. Open the activity or history view in Zush.
  2. Select the batch you want to inspect.
  3. Review the original and new filenames.
  4. Use revert to restore the previous filenames.
  • Start with a small folder when testing a new Template or prompt.
  • Regenerate weak names individually instead of rerunning the whole batch.
  • Keep review enabled for monitored folders until the naming pattern is stable.
  • Avoid applying large batches to shared folders before teammates agree on the naming convention.
