Build it
Section titled “Build it”- Create a Template named “Receipts & Expenses” (or start from the built-in Bookkeeper Expenses template and adjust it).
- Add Detected Date, Vendor, and Amount Naming Blocks; set the date format to
YYYY-MM-DD. - Add a Custom AI Block with your category list — for example “Software, Travel, Meals, Office Supplies, Hardware, Parking”.
- Test on a mixed batch: a photographed paper receipt, an emailed PDF, and a scan. AI vision reads photos and image-only scans directly.
- Assign the Template to folder monitoring on the synced folder where receipt photos and downloads land.
