How to rename a screenshot on Windows 11
For one screenshot in Windows 11, select it in File Explorer and press F2, or right-click it and choose Rename, then type the new filename and press Enter. For a batch, add the screenshot folder to Zush so AI can propose descriptive names from each image’s content; review the list before applying changes.
- Open File Explorer and go to Pictures\Screenshots, Downloads, or the folder where Snipping Tool saves your captures.
- To rename one file, select it, press F2 (or right-click and choose Rename), type the new name, and press Enter.
